Can't see any replies

When the other user types something, I see the "typing" indicator but I don't see any replies. I tried with many users and I get the same behavior. Right now, I can't use Kopete at all to communicate, even though until recently it was working fine (first with ICQ, then also with AIM). What is going on? What can I try to do to fix it? Licq and Gaim seem to work fine, and earlier Kopete seemed to work fine too. Please help!

I have Kopete 0.9.1 running under Redhat Linux Enterprise AS 4.1.

RE: Can't see any replies

I've been having the same problem with AIM. I haven't really talked to anyone on ICQ lately, so I don't know if that's also a problem. I've heard (but I haven't checked it myself) that Trillian recently released an update for AIM to get around some type of block (here we go again  ). I'm running an older version of Kopete and have been too lazy to upgrade, so I don't know if this is fixed in the latest version.

RE: Can't see any replies

you need to upgrade to at least Kopete 0.10.x although using the latest available would be preferable. See http://kopete.kde.org/releases.php for a new version
