Reminders at wrong times - KOrganizer 3.5

After upgrading to KOrganizer 3.5, my reminders pop up at the wrong times and seem to think that the appointments are earlier than entered on the calendar.

Example:

I have an appointment set for 20:00, with a reminder 30 minutes previous. Instead of having a reminder appear at 19:30, the reminder appears at 00:30. And the reminder states that the appointment is at 01:00, instead of 20:00 as it is set up in the calendar.

RE: Reminders at wrong times - KOrganizer 3.5

Sounds like a timezone issue (GMT-3?). In any case, the right place to ask this kind of question is on the kdepim-users mailing list, which exists for the purpose of dealing with user's problems (and figuring out if the problem really is a bug). The list is publically archived, too, so it's searchable and the solutions are available to everyone. You don't need to be subscribed to post messages to the list, though you might miss replies if you're not subscribed. The list address is kdepim-users@kde.org .

This is a frustrating and über-annoying bug.

See http://lists.kde.org/?l=kde-pim&m=113957688207089&w=2
and there is several bug reports in http://bugs.kde.org/ that date back to 2004 and are still with status "New". http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=84229, http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=68345 etc
Looks like this damn "time zone hell" gets fixed in one version and then returns in the next one.

Sorry, but i have no idea how to fix this.
I have changes my hardware clock from UTC to local, I have frell'd around with time zones in KDE.
Nothing...
