Konqueror always needs Refreshing

Konqueror always needs Refreshing

This little bug is pissing me off.
Konqueror refuses to load a page that is'nt in the cache or isn't in filebrowser mode.
To explain, if I type in www.kde-forum.org, and I haven't been there before, or if it's got a cookie that asks it to look for a recent change to the page (which kde-forum would do) then I get a usual page not found konquerer style 404. If I press the refresh button then no problems.

I have already posted a similar thread on Kubunutu forums, which is what I am using.

as a sub note konqueror also displays icon previews and previews with yellow or blue transparancies laid over the top of them - It would be great if some-one could piont me in a direction to fixing this.
