Kontact/outlook

In my work I have to send appointments through Outlook to a central calendar along with 3 other people.Can I use Kontact to do the same i.e send from Kontact to Outlook so appointments get entered into the calendar rather than them just turning up as an email with the appointment details ?
Anyone with any experience of this i'd love to hear from you as this is the only thing I need to get off of Windows at work!
