Upgraded to 3.5 - Problems

Not sure if this is the correct place for this post.

Upgraded via YaST on SuSE 10.0. I have Firefox set to download to desktop. Files are correctly downloaded to desktop folder but are not displayed on screen desktop. Downloads immediately showed up on actual desktop before. This also occurs when I save something to desktop, like a document, etc. Goes into the desktop folder but is not displayed on the desktop.

Sometimes file transfers to desktop are positioned hiding beneath existing desktop icons. Never happened before.

System Monitor applet running near clock displays color bars but not numerical pop-up as it used to. Again, never happened before.

'Line Up Vertically/Horizontally' desktop icon spacing is very wide with no way to manually control this. Was fine before upgrade.

Update dependency conflicts:
kdebindings3-python 3.5.0-9 requires python-qt=3.5.0-9 (this does not exist, I have latest version).
kdegraphics3-pdf 3.5.0-12 requires xpdf-tools (this does not exist).

May be other issues that I haven't found yet.

Anyone know how to fix these?
