Kaffeine 0.7 crashes after viewing a film

Kaffeine 0.7 (kubuntu 5.10 - kde3.5) crashes after viewing! ;(

Is this internal Kaffeine bug?

I have the same with the mplayer-plugin in firefox. the log-file tells me:

Source code

1
kernel BUG at mm/page_alloc.c

With some googling I found out that this is a bug that seems to come with some nvidia drivers that do trigger a memory allocation error... hopefully the bug will be fixed soon.

Update to kaffeine 0.7.1 resolved the problem.

RE: Kaffeine 0.7 crashes after viewing a film

I think I have the same problem. I tried to play a .mov-file. At that moment Kaffeine closed and I can't open it again. When I go to another user on the same computer, it works without any problem. I use Kaffeine version 0.8.2 under KDE version 3.5.5. My operating system is Suse Linux 10.2

Oops, I've been to fast...
I typed the command "kaffeine" in a console-window as superuser and kaffeine started at that moment indeed, but it started under the user "root" and that was not what I wanted to do.
Under my own username, happens nothing when I try to start kaffeine.

After that I tried the following steps:
I deleted next files
- /home/username/.kde/share/config/kaffeinerc
- /home/username/.kde/share/apps/kaffeine
- the directory /home/username/.xine
after that, I removed the whole program kaffeine and reinstalled it.
nothing of this works
?(
