sync Kontact between to desktop computers

The problem: I have PC at work an another machine at home. I use KDE on both and with Kontact. Is it possible to sync the data on the two machines in some way?

Installing Kolab seems to be an overkill..or not?

IMAP solved this problem for email, I just need contacts and maybe calendar sync too.

Thank you for the help.

RE: sync Kontact between to desktop computers

I was told a great solution by Werner Joss on the KDEPIM_user ml:

"if you have access to an imap server from both locations, just set kontact to
use imap-kontact+calendar resources (kontacts+cal are then stored in imap
folders) and you're done.
very easy to setup."

Thx, that was what I was looking for. However I did notice an odd behaviour.

I set now everything to use IMAP. That works fine.

I add a new calendar entry. It appears for a moment and then vanishes.
I add another new calendar entry (or edit and old one) and then the one that vansihed before reappears.

The same applies for the ToDos and Contacts.

Also waiting some time does not seem to solve that issue.

Any idea what's going on here?
