[Kopete] Jabber - File Transfer Configuration

Hi, I just wanted to know where can I get information about configuring Kopete for file transfering using Jabber. I tried the wiki, but it's not very complete :P (yet). I searched the forum, but it seems that there are not many jabber users around here.

I'm using a NAT and the Linux SuSE 10 Firewall. Where can I find more information?

If there are not many sources of information I will post more details later... now I'm very tired...
Ciao ciao

RE: [Kopete] Jabber - File Transfer Configuration

For file transver, there must exist a port where your computer can be reached. To enable such port, you must forward a port in your firewall. There is many documentation around about forwarding ports.

After that, you must tell your client (e.g. Kopete) where your computer can be reached. For this, you must enter your IP (the IP of the internet connection; not your local IP) and port-number in the configuration dialog of your account.
