making graphs in KChart

Can someone tell me how to make a graph in KChart? For instance. I measured current at different voltages. Now, I want to have voltages in X axis. I could do this if I name the columns (or rows, depends on the type of data) by voltage values at which the current has it's value. (for example. At voltage 2V you have current 12mA). But if I do this, graph wouldn't be correct, because voltages wouldn't be correctly sorted, they would be divided (number of columns/whole X axis). (I found a same problem with OOo).

PS: This is little off topic :P But is the extended editor working? I can't get it to work. (using latest sun-jre-bin)

PS2: I'm sorry for my badly written sentences :P.
