problem with KDM

Hi,
I use SuSE 9.0, and upgraded KDE to the 3.4.1 version (it was formerly the 3.1 version) , by hand using the RPMs. The problem is that when I set KDM as the display manager, it screw up certain things. I use wmaker, and when I log in using KDM my .xinitrc is not readed (I have a small amount of daemons to start there), and (thats pretty bad too) the Mod4 key doesn't work (the Win key). As far as I know, KDM has no problems when the user logs in to use KDE.

I really want to use KDM (to get rid of the pretty pretty GDM, and, of course, GNOME), but I don't know how to fix it. I've been google'in a bit and haven't found any web page for the program, or where to get help. Even something like telling me where to make the bug report would be a great help.

Thanks
