Can't get rid of Blank Space in System Tray

I have a little annoyance with KDE 3.3.1-3.10
In my system tray, there is a blank white block that i can't get rid of. Does anyone have any info on how i can get rid of this thing. I've attached a pic so you can see what i'm talking about...
