default to detailed Detailed List view mode?

I've looked through documentation, searched the forums, but cannot get the Konqueror file manager to default to the Detailed List View Mode. Seems like a pretty darn straight-forward thing, but I'm going to give up and get some work done.

What usually happens is that I open "kfmclient openProfile filemanagement", via the taskbar icon in Suse Pro 9.1. It opens in icon view, and I go into the drop-down menu, and change it to Detailed List View. Having done this hundreds of times, now, how do I get it to default to that view?

BTW: Konqueror 3.2.1

Thanks,

Steve

Omg

Yup, someone should take that 1 star and "assistant" label from me for once-again missing the blindingly and deafeningly *&^$*& obvious. Thanks for the help. For some reason, I assumed that that only saved settings which were changed via the configuration screens.

Thanks again.
