3.4: KMail & KWallet

Hi,
I have migrated from Suse 9.2/KDE 3.3 to Kubuntu 4.05 / KDE 3.4 and I am really pleased about the improvements and the much higher speed.
Nevertheless there is one feature which is absolut annoying: the kwallet password storing mechanism of kmail. Up to now I have used kwallet mostly for storing web - form and post data. Now kmail insists to store my pop and smtp passwords in there and I cannot force it to store it within its own config file - the popup window - asking wether to store in config file or not just seems to last until the next login and I'm prompted again for a kwallet password followed by pop-terror.

Please help I have spent hours to find a solution but unfortunately the only working one was to completely disable kwallet, which would be a bad one.

THX in advance

I'm afraid you can't do much about it: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97925
