Improve konqueror performance

hi

we have some old computer, we use ltsp

on the server, we use fluxbox

all computer(15) via ltsp will use konqueror

we need tips to improve performance...

when we start konqeror, there are a lot of: kded, kdeinit, dcopserver...

are there a way to reduce the number of theses program?

we only need to go on a web page (for a exam, only basic html with image)

These programs are the KDE base infrastructure.

You can prestart them by running kdeinit if loading Konqueror takes too long because it has to start them up.

links seem ok but i'm not able to remove the menu ( i don't want my user use the link menu - graphic mode)

are there a way to start links directely with a url in graphical mode

in a console mode, i do:

links -g

i would like to do something like: links -g www.yahoo.com

I don't think that's possible, but you can always modify the sources.
