lost wallet password

I don't remember my kde wallet password. I wrote it down in file, but for some reason the old p/w stuck. If I am root is there a way to access the file which has tells me my kde user wallet password, or is there another way to get out of this conundrum?

I am afraid you can only delete the wallet.
The wallets are in .kde/share/apps/kwallet
