KNode - "copies via email"and KWallet

Greetings,

after several people have asked me to not request a copy per email of any reply to my news articles they send, I searched up and down, left and right, through all options of KNode. Where the (censored) is that option?! I can't find anything even remotely related to that anywhere!

(EDIT: )

On a related note, how can I teach KNode to NOT access KWallet every time I start it? It starts to get on my nerves - I don't need that much security on my lil' system! ?(

Regards

Thurisaz

In the "Identity" section of the configuration dialog?

Unless we are talking about vastly different dialogue windows without realizing, no.

All I can set there is my name, email addresses and signatures.

There should be an edit box labelled "Mail-copies-to" below "Reply-to address".

RE: KNode - "copies via email"and KWallet

Oh, so if there's any address entered there, mail-to copies will always be requested automatically?

Strange, that. I'd have expected that the manual would explain such things... but then, maybe I overlooked it despite searching repeatedly - or maybe there's something missing in the German manual (which was automatically installed with my SuSE box).

Anyway, I've deleted that address. We'll see what happens. Thanks.

That's (hopefully) one less annoyance. Now if someone can give me a tip to teach KNode to forget about KWallet... anyone? 8)
