kmail identities

Hi,

I have a domain name with 123 reg which allows me to forward mail to my normal mail address. Can I set up an identity with Kmail that puts my domain e-mail address in the from header. I can set up an identity that does this but the messages wont send, I get an error message about temporary problem with server try later, have had several attempts without success. I am using normal POP and SMTP for my mail. any advice welcome

Some server reject mail where the From address is not one of theirs.

Are you sure your server allows this?

Alternatively you could set the reply to address to the other one.
